The Rai lamp takes its shape and geometry from a spherical blown octahedron, with an open structure that has an equally rigid and airy feel that culminates in pure elegance. The special joints mean the piece can be put together without glue and the arcs have been cut from thin aircraft plywood that's been taken from a very small section of the plywood sheet. The piece has a minimal, fresh and modern feel that would work in any modern contemporary interior. The piece comes flat-packed and includes detailed instructions.
