The embrace coffee table by John Green was originally designed as a final year university project, intended as a modern take on the Isokon Penguin Donkey bookstand designed by Austrian architect Egon Riss in 1939. Since then the piece itself has gone on to win numerous accolades including the Grand Designs product of the year award. Comprised of two low modern tables "embraced" together to form a robust storage unit come magazine rack, occasional table. Embrace has even been thoughtfully designed that when the tables are apart, they can act as a child's bench and desk, laptop table or even breakfast tray. A truly multi-functional contemporary table that's perfect for families who care about having a stylish and contemporary home. Bent plywood with a sleek walnut veneer that's bound to add a hint of style and sophistication to your interiors.
